Abstract

In September 2022, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Selatan through the entrance to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (SMB) II Palembang was recorded as only 4 visits.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in September 2022 was 50.37 percent, a decrease of 0.49 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 50.86 percent. While the TPK for non-star hotels for September 2022 was recorded at 19.85 percent.
The highest ROR for star hotels in September 2022 occurred in 5-star hotels, which was 59.76 percent and the lowest was in 2-star hotels, which was 38.75 percent.
The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in September 2022 reached 1.36 days, a decrease of 0.20 points compared to August 2022 which was recorded at 1.56 days.
The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in September 2022 is higher than the average length of stay of Indonesian guests.
