Abstract

Sumatra Selatan Province in October 2021 experienced inflation of 0.08 percent, Calendar Year inflation (cumulative) until October 2021 was 0.85 percent. Meanwhile, the "Year on Year" Annual Inflation (October 2021 to October 2020) was 1.74 percent. The dominant commodities that caused inflation in October 2021 in Sumatra Selatan include: red chili, household fuel, cooking oil, and filtered kretek cigarettes, which experienced an increase in prices compared to the average price in September 2021.

The city of Palembang in October 2021 experienced inflation of 0.07 percent, Inflation for the Calendar Year (Cumulative) until October 2021 was 0.85 percent. Meanwhile, the "Year on Year" Annual Inflation (October 2021 to October 2020) was 1.75 percent.

Lubuk Linggau City in October 2021 experienced inflation of 0.31 percent, Calendar Year inflation (cumulative) until October 2021 was 0.98 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (October 2021 to October 2020) of 1.73 percent.

Indonesia in October 2021, based on price monitoring during October 2021 in 90 CPI cities, showed that 68 CPI cities experienced inflation. Meanwhile, 22 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sampit City at 2.06 percent, the lowest in Sumenep and Banyuawangi cities at 0.02 percent each. The highest deflation occurred in Kendari City at 0.70 percent, the lowest was in Bengkulu City at 0.02 percent.
