To support the quality of statistical
reporting, the Banyuasin Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) is holding the 2026
Tourism Services Survey Officer Training offline from March 30–31, 2026, at the
Banyuasin Regency BPS Office. This training aims to improve the understanding
and competency of field officers so they can conduct surveys in accordance with
established concepts, definitions, and methodologies.
Through this survey, BPS will collect
various important information, including:

Characteristics of
accommodation businesses, workforce, revenue and expenditure structure, and
number of guests.

Characteristics of food and
beverage businesses, including number of customers, partnership patterns, use
of information technology, business profiles, workforce, and business revenue
and expenses.

General description and
characteristics of tourist attraction businesses, including data on revenue,
expenditure, business prospects, and workforce.
The resulting data is expected to be the
basis for policy formulation and support the development of a sustainable
tourism sector in Banyuasin Regency.
